Lassonde Pappas manufactures organic juice and cranberry sauce products in compliance with the standards established in the USDA’s National Organic Program (NOP). Adherence to NOP standards insures the organic integrity of our organic products. Each Lassonde Pappas manufacturing site that produces our organic products is certified by Quality Assurance International (QAI), an independent, third party certification entity. This certification process insures that the organic integrity is maintained in every step of the organic chain.
USDA Commodity Purchasing Program
Lassonde Pappas actively participates in the USDA Commodity Purchasing Program. Prior to producing USDA contract items, the USDA conducts annual Plant Surveys and Food Defense System Surveys of our manufacturing sites to ensure compliance with good commercial manufacturing practices. This inspection process includes our plant facilities, equipment, environment, management and operations. Our USDA inspected plants meet all of the requirements and are approved to manufacture products for the USDA.
